Imperial, for successful desserts!
Think Imperial, and tasty desserts immediately come to mind. The brand is a fixture in Belgian kitchens and has been on the market for over a hundred years.
The Belgian dessert specialist
Imperial’s story starts in 1903 when John Collin and Jeanne Verelst marketed a delicious pudding powder. In the following decades, Imperial became the Belgian dessert specialist. The range was steadily expanded with vanilla sugar, baking flour and powder, dessert toppings and pectin.
Imperial is still largely associated with its puddings, which are easily made in no time at all and which can be eaten hot or cold.
The yellow box
Creative cooks tend to use Imperial’s self-rising baking flour and baking powder. Another familiar sight in their kitchens is the yellow Imperial box, the vanilla sugar which gives that extra sweet touch to pancakes, cakes, waffles and pudding.
Imperial Pec
Pectin is also an important kitchen aid. This natural product, which is derived from apples and citric acid, helps thicken home-made jam. And let’s not forget the delightful dessert sauces that enhance the taste of your ice cream, pancakes, pudding, pastries and fruit.
Imperial is the Belgian market leader in every one of its segments, which says enough about the quality of its products.
