I love the variety in my job Yves, Warehouse Manager

I started out ten years ago at Campbell’s as a production worker and after one year, I transferred to the export warehouse. Here I am responsible for all goods that are dispatched abroad.

The export team phones through the orders. Every day, I prepare products for France and a few times a week for the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Australia. Every day, I spend two to three hours on a forklift shifting pallets.

I love the variety in my job. Moreover, I have a lot of contact with the drivers who pick up the orders. They come from Belgium, Italy and Spain and even Eastern Europe. My hours are another advantage: I start at 6.30 a.m. and stop at 3 p.m., meaning I am home at five past three which gives me plenty of time to do other things.

I need to make sure that I did my work and above all that I did it well. But nobody is keeping tabs on me. We are a group of friends at the warehouse, which is quite pleasant.
